"We are excited to have such a well-rounded panel!"
"Thank you for giving your time and love to our students and alumni!"
"What a fabulous panel! I can't wait to do this with you!"
"Hi! I work with Jules on a daily basis to help run The Dancer's WorkoutĀ®, and I am happy to help with the UNCSA Picklestock Panel! Looking forward to meeting you! I'll be the one with the camera!"
All panelists must arrive at the Agnes de Mille Theatre at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 25, 2018. Pre-event photos will be taken.
After a short intro, the moderator will ask each panelist (one-by-one) to share something “professional, personal, and particular (or peculiar)” about themselves. Each panelist should speak for no more than 3 minutes (practice and time yourself!). Once all panelists have completed their introductions, we’ll move to the Moderator’s Questions.
Assuming there’s time, we will open the audience microphone up to 3-4 questions which can be directed to any one of us.
After the event, students and alumni will be invited on stage for a large group photo.
We'd like to create a video clip to augment your discussion about the highlights of your career and life. Jules (or Sara) will put any photos or video clips you provide into a video format. Simply complete the following steps by August 15, 2018: Upload 8-10 photos and/or a short video clip HERE which gives a visual story of your life and career in less than 3 minutes. Upload the photos/videos in the order in which they should appear in the video montage, starting with a photo of you when you attended UNCSA and ending with a reasonably current photo. Email any instructions (e.g, video start/stop times) to [email protected]. Jules (or Sara) will put the media into a video montage and share with you by August 21 for final approval. Items submitted after August 15th are unlikely to be included due to editing timelines.
Update August 20, 2018: 6 out of 7 video bios are complete! Great job, team!
The 2018 Picklestock School of Dance Town Hall meeting will be videotaped. A link to the video will be provided to each moderator within four weeks of the meeting.
Contact: If you have any questions, please contact Jules at [email protected].
Due to limited Picklestock funds, selected panelists must agree to cover whatever travel or hotel fees would be required to participate as a panelist. Picklestock registration is not required for the panelist opportunity but would be required if you wanted to participate in the other alumni events scheduled for the August 23-25, 2018 Picklestock Reunion. For your convenience, here are links to the Picklestock registration and the hotel where many of the alumni are staying.
